Ready to immerse yourself in nature, creativity, and a day of pure artistic bliss? Join me for a Watercolour Painting Retreat in the heart of the breathtaking North York Moors! Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this day is all about having fun, exploring new techniques, and capturing the magic of this iconic landscape. What you'll enjoy: Relaxing Outdoor Painting: We’ll start the day with some exploratory sketching amidst the stunning moorland and wide-open skies—perfect for inspiration! The beautiful Chapel and gardens are available for our use throughout the day; so inclement weather won't stop our watercolour fun! Expert Guidance: I will be on hand to guide you step-by-step, ensuring everyone feels confident and supported. From blending beautiful washes to adding textural excitement, you'll learn tips and tricks to elevate your skills, all while having fun! A Day of Joy & Connection: Meet like-minded creatives and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the process of painting, making new friends along the way. A Cozy Retreat Experience:  A delightful day in nature, with good company and plenty of laughs, awaits. If you are travelling a distance, it is also possible to book B&B for Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Tree Relaxation Centre. Practicalities: The workshop runs from 10am to 4 pm and takes place at The Chapel, Tree Relaxation Retreat, Rosedale East, Pickering YO18 8RH. Refreshments and delicious vegetarian lunch are included so please advise any dietary restrictions. Your tutor: Ione is a landscape artist and tutor with over 30 years' teaching experience. Her aim in her teaching is twofold: that you feel supported to develop confidence and skill in using the wonderful medium of watercolour; that you enjoy a restorative, creative time playing with paint.
