An atmospheric watercolour painting of Caulkley's Bank in North Yorkshire.
In the painting, I used watercolour with lots of water. I wanted to capture the atmosphere and timeless quality of these gorgeous scabius flowers. It was painted on a windy day, when the purple/grey of the clouds seemed to sweep down into the ground in the colours of the scabius flowers. It is a lovely place to walk and one of my favourites.
Comes unframed and unmounted. Size 40cm x 30cm.
